It is implied by the construction of three orthogonal golden section rectangles which define, in their vertexes, an outer dodecahedron (the humanistic symbol of God's perfection) which embraces the artwork. The focal point of the poet's meditation is the hill and the bush which limit his horizon. These are symbolized by the bronze cube: Earth. The poet's creativity, symbolized by the tetrahedron, Fire, disrupts the limits posed by the surface of this tangible world and encounters an infinite, timeless, universe. The four parts of the disrupted cube are suspended in space between two octahedrons. |
